What if the student is late?
If the student did not show up you can notify the student using the notify student via the bell button.
If the student didn’t show up after 5 minutes, immediately inform the Customer Support Team via the platform chat.
You are expected to wait for 50% of the class duration for regular lessons and 25% for trial classes & be ready to do the lesson if the students show up.
In case the student doesn't show up for the lesson the tutor is compensated by Tutopiya as follows.
Student no-show for a trial lesson- 25% of the lesson feeWaiting period for a trial lesson- 15 minutes
Student no-show for a regular lesson- 100% of the lesson fee up to a maximum of 1 hour.Waiting period for a regular lesson- 30 minutes
